Nursing administrator responsibilities in health Department
1- Supervision on collecting data and information about nursing staff and the number of available beds in related centers 2- Guidance and policy making for nursing administrators 3- Attempt to enhance nursing office's organizational chart in accordance with the laws of the University 4- Preparing standards for workflow in hospitals, in collaboration with relevant experts 5- Activating hospital triage system according to treatment guidelines in all units 6- Designing a monitoring and evaluation system on nursing performance 7- Planning in order to optimize human resources in emergency wards and ICU 8- Supervision on collecting data and information about nursing staff, their recruitment, transition and etc. 9- Implementation of Participative management through coordination meetings with senior nursing managers in subordinated centers. 10- Handling complaints and problems of nurses 11- Planning for the development of nursing services 12- Updating personnel information to deal with the emergency and employ nurses 13- Efforts to increase satisfaction and motivation of nurses 14- Supervising the fine implementation of educational programs in cooperation with educational supervisors 15- Registration and documentation of the activities 16- Staff satisfaction evaluation of the educational process 17- Negotiating with treatment managers, nursing administrators and provincial experts regarding the nursing staff 18- Conducting nurse day celebration and coordination with other agencies in this regard 19- Attend meetings of the nursing planning committee in the whole country and programming in this area 20- Participation in congresses and nursing scientific conferences 21- Attend the operational and strategic meetings on direct treatment 22- Collaboration with clinical and training experts about in-service training for nurses
